Renton, WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Seahawks signed wide receiver Deon Butler to a multi-year deal on Friday. The length of the deal was not disclosed, but the Seattle Times is reporting it is for four years. The third-round pick (91st overall) in the 2009 draft closed out his collegiate career as Penn State's all-time leading receiver with 179 receptions. He also recorded 2,771 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns. Butler becomes the fifth draft pick to sign with the Seahawks.

The defense was as good as any in the country last year and returns all 11 starters, including All-Americans Brandon Spikes (LB), Carlos Dunlap (DE) and Ahmad Black (S).
